Police in Scotland have cordoned off the streets of Glasgow after a man has been stabbed in what police described as a targeted attack, Scottish Television (STV) and the 'Daily Mail' newspaper reported.

STV quoted Police Inspector Gareth Griffiths , who reported that it was a "targeted attack" and does not believe that "there is a threat to the general public."

On Friday, six people, including a police officer, were stabbed to death in a hotel in the center of the Scottish city, before the attacker was shot dead in an incident that police said they were not treating as terrorism.
