THE ESSENTIAL

  • This Sunday, the voters of a little more than 150 Breton municipalities are called to the polls, three and a half months after the first round of the municipal elections.
  • An unprecedented situation that should not obscure the many hot spots that remain in the major cities of Brittany. From Brest to Rennes via Lorient or Saint-Malo, hundreds of thousands of residents are waiting to know the name of their mayor this Sunday.
  • We will particularly watch the three-way match that is played in Rennes between the outgoing mayor Nathalie Appéré, the LREM candidate Carole Gandon and the candidate from the right and from the center Charles Compagnon. First estimates expected around 8 p.m.
