- The EELV candidates Bruno Bernard in the metropolitan area and Grégory Doucet in the city clearly won the first round of elections in Lyon in March.
- After 19 years at the head of the city of Lyon, Gérard Collomb has bet in the in-between rounds to ally himself with Les Républicains (LR). This alliance has notably seen Gérard Collomb give way to François-Noël Buffet (LR) at the metropolis.
- For their part, the Greens allied with the PS, rebellious France and the Communist Party before this second round.

5:00 p.m .: Hello everyone, we are off for a long evening together, on the occasion of a second round of thrilling municipal elections in Lyon. Here are the scores for the first round in the city, more than three months ago, for the three candidates still in the running: Grégory Doucet (EELV): 28.46%, Yann Cucherat (ex-candidate LREM): 14, 92% and Georges Képénékian (without label): 11.98%. Etienne Blanc (LR, 17%) joined forces with Yann Cucherat in the space between the two towers, while Nathalie Perrin-Gilbert (FI, 10%) notably joined the environmental camp.
