INTERVIEW

These are alliances that do not pass in the eyes of Karima Delli. Invited to the special edition of Europe 1 on the evening of the second round of municipal elections, the MEP returned to the strategy of La République en Marche in this campaign, which consisted in many large cities of joining forces with LR, face to the Greens. A configuration which was notably found in Lyon, Tours or Strasbourg.

"Before we had a republican front to block the far right, today En Marche invented the front of decline", tackles the MEP. Castigating alliances to "save the posts of old politicians by saying that the enemy is ecology", Karima Delli believes that the victories of the Greens (notably Marseille, Strasbourg, Besançon, Poitiers, Tours and Lyon) are the most "nice kick in the buttocks that the French send to all these old political parties".

As for the green wave that seizes the territory on the evening of the second round, Karima Delli believes that "these victories show that we will not do ecology without the environmentalists".
