The ministry said that on the outskirts of the village of Mayskoye in the Prigorodny district of North Ossetia, there was a conflict between the five men during the conversation, during which the parties used firearms and traumatic weapons.
“As a result of the shootout, all five were injured, as a result of which one person died and four were hospitalized,” RIA Novosti reports.
The Ingushetia Ministry of Internal Affairs added that the incident occurred 500 m west of the administrative border of the republic in the jurisdiction of the authorities of North Ossetia.
At the same time, they specified that all the victims are Ingush, some of them live in the republic.
“The leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Republic of Ingushetia ... quickly responded to the incident and sent a group of employees to assist colleagues from North Ossetia,” the press service said.
On the evening of June 26, in the Prigorodny district of North Ossetia, a conflict occurred between a group of citizens on household soil, which ended in shooting.
The Investigative Committee opened a criminal case.
