Jurgen Klopp, coach of the English Premier League champions, said that his focus is currently not on the disintegration of the squad that gave the club its first title in the competition in 30 years, in the near future.

Liverpool ended its long struggle when it crowned its 19th league title last Thursday, taking advantage of second-placed Manchester City against Chelsea, to coach Club Club by 23 points, with seven games remaining.

Club, who took over from Liverpool in 2015, is enjoying a period of domination after winning the Champions League last season and crowning the Premier League title this season.

He told the German newspaper Bild that "I cannot promise that we will dominate football now or that it is time to talk about major revolutions, but I know our goal is to preserve the squad."

Klopp, 53, understands that "The Lever" is not like his former team, Borussia Dortmund, who lost his most prominent players in seasons following his victory in two consecutive German first division titles in 2011 and 2012.

"The problem in Dortmund was to pick up other clubs for our players, and this did not happen here and Liverpool maintained exceptional stability within two and a half years," the German coach added.

British media speculated that Dortmund's "Gideon Sancho" was a target for Liverpool in the transfer period, but Klopp acknowledged that he could not imagine his club signing this English winger at the moment.

"The red shirt might suit Gideon, but I don't think such a move will take place this summer. If he moves to Liverpool, I will be the most surprised of all," he said.
