In August, the fourth edition of the Jönköping Marathon was planned. Due to today's restrictions, organizers are now forced to postpone the race. Instead, the Jönköping Marathon is planned to be completed in October. Tony Hatefnejad is one of the organizers. He looks positively at the situation despite the change.

- Of course, we had hoped that we would complete the race as planned in August. But we have to think about safety first and then we made the decision to postpone the race, he says.

Grand race

Last year, around 2,000 runners from around 40 nations were ready for the starting line. It is a joint start for those who run 21 kilometers and those who run 42 kilometers and the same distance applies this year.

–We have received extra pressure from participants for us now, in that other races have been canceled. So we look forward to a grand race, says Tony Hatefnejad.
