As reported by RIA Novosti in the police, the demonstration took place without incident.

“At the peak of the rally, there were more than a thousand people,” said a police spokeswoman.

It is specified that the rally was held on June 17 at the Victory Column, a monument to the unification wars of Germany in 1871, blocked by police on a section of the street.

Earlier in Germany and several other countries, protests were held in connection with the death in the United States of African American George Floyd. In one of Berlin's parks, graffiti appeared depicting the deceased, as well as his dying words: "I can’t breathe."
