If it was not possible to test himself in Sweden, it would be possible to test himself in Denmark, the Danish Ministry of Justice stated on Friday. Those who wanted to test themselves in Denmark had to sign a certificate promising to test themselves within 24 hours of entering and going into self-insulation for 14 days or until you can show a negative test.

But after less than a day, the opportunity was removed again, reports Sydsvenskan.

"The part with certificates is no longer valid," writes Jakob Kronborg, spokesperson for the Danish Ministry of Justice to the newspaper.

A negative covid-19 test is now required for southern Swedes who want to cross the border unless they have special reasons for work or have a family in the country, Danish authorities say.

Many tours

An earlier message from Denmark was that scans, bleaches, hallways, swordsmen and westerners would be allowed to enter Denmark from Saturday.

That was right up until Thursday. Then the Danish Serum Institute announced that Swedes, in addition to Western settlements, will not be able to enter Denmark unless they have special reasons to cross the border, like work or have family in the country.

That message was invalidated in turn on Friday. Instead, it was announced that even southern Swedish tourists living in Skåne, Blekinge and Halland were welcome if they showed a negative corona test. Or if promised to test himself in Denmark within 24 hours - a message that now also does not apply.

"Care And"

TT has called on Home Minister Mikael Damberg (S) for comment.

After Denmark announced earlier this week that Skåne did not live up to the Danish entry rules, Skåne's regional chairman Carl Johan Sonesson (M) has now written to the Danish Minister of Justice for a better solution.

In the letter to the Danish Minister of Justice, Nick Hekkerup, Sonesson writes that the Öresund region needs to find common methods and standards.

- We have got a situation where Skåne and Denmark have grown together into a larger metropolis and then it is worrying that there is now a border through it. It affects in many ways, Sonesson tells TT.
