Records showed by the US Ministry of Justice - seen by Al Jazeera Net - the attempt of the Emirati ambassador in Washington, Youssef Al Otaiba, to turn American officials into Turkish intervention in Libya, stressing the impatience of the Egyptian army from this interference.

Hajar Al-Awad, who founded her own lobby company after working for years to help Al-Otaiba, distributed an email on the 22nd of this month on behalf of the UAE and its ambassador, using the lobby company "Akin Gump", to American politicians, experts and journalists interested in Libyan affairs.

The message, obtained by Al-Jazeera Net, included an Emirati appeal to the American departments to understand Cairo's concerns about Turkish interference in Libya, confirming also the Gulf states standing next to Egypt to secure its borders with Libya.

"The Emirati ambassador requested that I share the following message to everyone who tracks the Libyan affair, and I urge you to send this message to all those who follow the Libyan affair who you know immediately," the letter said.

Egyptian anger
and Al-Awad confirmed that its message reached senior officials in the American administration, where the point of view of the Emirates was clarified, which believes that "Turkish moves in Libya were taken with the aim of luring Egypt to military intervention in Libya, which Egypt is seriously considering these days."

She pointed out that the threat of Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to military intervention in Libya "must be taken seriously after we have done everything we have so that Egypt does not get involved" in the Libyan conflict.

The letter accused Turkey of escalation, as it sent military naval vessels off the Libyan coast.

It also states that "Turkey has brought 15,200 terrorist extremists from Syria to Libya, and that Egypt will not allow a country that supports the Muslim Brotherhood to exist on its borders. This is an existential threat to them, and this equates to having China instead of Canada, and Russia instead of Mexico in relation to the United States." ".

The Emirati message warned that those who believe that Libya is currently suffering from chaos and violence must wait for what events can develop to become 100 times worse than it is now.

American anxiety
On the other hand, American experts assured Al-Jazeera Net that Washington viewed with concern the growing influence of Russia inside Libya.

David Mac, the former ambassador to the State Department, indicated that there is clearly a determination in Washington to "not allow the Russians to make Libya another Syria."

But the message of the Emir and the Emirati leadership - to the American departments concerned with Libyan affairs - did not refer to the influence or the Russian or Emirati military presence inside Libya.
