Anders Rådberg, Mats Rådberg's brother, confirms for the Aftonbladet that the artist passed away the night until Saturday. Mats Rådberg had been battling cancer since last September.
The Swedish country star had several successes during the 70s and 80s and participated in the 1977 tune festival with the song "You and me and the summer". In 1983 he had a hit with the song "Poke in a stick in the fire". During his career he released 24 albums. He recorded several of the records together with the band Rankarna.
