In a 22-page draft, which SVT Nyheter has taken note of, the government describes point by point what the Corona Commission should investigate when examining Sweden's handling of the pandemic.

In the opposition, most parties are largely satisfied with what is in the draft - and several representatives of the parties say that they have demanded directives that the government has now obeyed.

- We can conclude that the Swedish Democrats' pressure regarding the death of elderly housing has been heard and that this will be a central part of the investigation, which we of course welcome, says SD leader Jimmie Åkesson.

Liberal Party leader Nyamko Sabuni says the draft contains several important elements that should be included in this type of scrutiny. However, Sabuni wishes the draft to place higher demands on the investigation into how the pandemic affected socio-economically vulnerable areas:

Sabuni wants to see deeper analysis

- What I lack in it is a deeper order of analysis of what happened in our vulnerable areas. The pandemic has hit these areas extremely hard, harder than other areas of our country.

The Left Party's health policy spokesperson Karin Rågmark is positive about the draft and particularly pleased that the issue of elder care is being raised.

- We wanted to get an overview of how the spread has started. That is, compared to other countries, how well we managed it. It is also good that one should investigate elderly care, as it is highly current all the time.

M wants politically independent investigators

KD is also largely positive about the draft, but they lack two pieces in the proposal:

- Above all, the Commission needs to examine the factual evidence that underpins the decisions taken by the government and the expert authorities. And secondly, the entire Swedish strategy needs to be examined.

Moderate party secretary Gunnar Strömmer thinks many of the directives listed are good, but stresses that they want to see politically unaffiliated people being appointed to the commission.

The Center Party has refrained from commenting.
