“On June 30, two freight trains - from the mainland and from the peninsula - will pass across the bridge towards each other. They will cross the Kerch Strait and open freight rail traffic, ”TASS reports.

As noted, along the first route from the peninsula there will be a train with products from local enterprises, including soda ash and limestone, along the second route of the opposite direction - a train formed, in particular, from gas tanks, gondola cars with fertilizers, grain carriers, cement trucks, platforms loaded with rails.

According to the general director of SGM-Most general contractor Alexander Ostrovsky, the bridge is ready for the growth of railway traffic.

Earlier it was reported that tourists have already bought more than 40 thousand tickets for summer trains for trips to the Crimea.
