“A number of topical issues on the bilateral agenda were discussed. Mutual attitude was confirmed for the further development of Russian-Kyrgyz cooperation in various fields, including the fight against the coronavirus pandemic, ”the Kremlin’s press service said in a statement.
Putin also thanked Jeenbekov for his visit to Moscow to celebrate the 75th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War and for the participation of servicemen from Kyrgyzstan in the parade on Red Square.
Earlier, Jeenbekov had a telephone conversation with Putin and expressed regret that he could not take part in the Victory Parade in Moscow due to the detection of a coronavirus in two members of the Kyrgyz delegation.
