A news report stated today, Friday, that the Algerian football team coach, Jamel Belmadi, rejected a huge offer from the Emirates to train its first team.
The Sports News Desad news site quoted reliable sources as saying that a senior official in the UAE federation had been in contact with Belmadi for several months with the aim of persuading him to train the "white" team, according to German news agency DPA.
The sources indicated that the same official suggested to Belmadi a huge salary that exceeds half a million euros a month, in addition to many other very attractive benefits.
And this offer would have made Balamadi one of the highest paid coaches in the world, according to the news website.
But in my past, he apologized for not accepting this offer, which is not rejected for his intention to continue his adventure with the "Greens" in order to reach the World Cup Qatar 2022, and to offer a historic championship.
It is noteworthy that the President of the Algerian Football Association, Khairreddine Zouchi, said in an interview with Algerian radio last Tuesday that Belmadi had received many offers, stressing that he remained until the end of his contract after the Qatar World Cup 2022.
