They have a different summer job - trying to be a dancer

The initiative is a collaboration between Växjö Municipality and the Kronoberg Region. 

What does the summer job look like?

- That they should work as a dancer and see what it means. Every day there are technology classes and then we work with choreographies that we have to show in different places. We will do a dance performance for children and then we will show up in different places in Växjö to spread the dance, ”says Liv Trulsson, who is choreographer and responsible for Växjö's summer dancers. 

What have you gained so far about the profession? 

- It's physically demanding, so you get pretty tired. Already after a few days you had workouts throughout the body, but it is also very fun, says dancer Eila Max.
