In his address, he noted that in Russia there is still the problem of a lack of places in preschool educational institutions.

One of the solutions may be a monthly payment, which the family, at will, will arrange for a place in a kindergarten, Vlasov said.

“I consider it necessary to give parents the right to choose which will allow them to abandon the legal place in kindergarten in favor of receiving a monthly payment in the amount of the regional minimum wage for the period during which their child could be in kindergarten,” the text of the appeal says. .

It is clarified that if parents change their minds, they can refuse to pay and again stand in line for a legal place in kindergarten.

The deputy also added that this opportunity will significantly reduce queues for kindergartens, as parents who have someone to leave their children with may prefer an additional monthly payment, which will become a significant measure of financial support for them.

At the same time, those parents who need to leave their child in a preschool educational institution will be much easier to realize this right, the lawmaker noted.

Earlier, a member of the Civic Chamber of Russia Sultan Khamzaev proposed by the end of 2020 not to charge for the services of budgetary kindergartens from parents who lost their jobs during the coronavirus pandemic.
