“We will not even react to these inappropriate protest notes regarding the holding of parades in our military districts. Today, official Kiev refused veterans who liberated Ukraine from Nazi invaders, did not allow people to celebrate the Victory - I consider this behavior to be absolutely immoral and reprehensible. And to indicate to us also how we should honor the liberators, it is outrageous and unacceptable, ”Balbek added.

The deputy stressed that the victory was general.

“But a note is just a sheet of paper, filled by virtue of fashionable political trends, I must say, simply insulting. So it is safe to say that these notes of protest will not change anything in our domestic policy, ”the parliamentarian concluded.

Earlier, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry sent a note of protest to Russia over the parade in Crimea.

Kiev called the actions of Russia a "provocation" to further escalate tensions in Ukrainian-Russian relations.

Crimea became the Russian region after a referendum held in March 2014, at which most residents spoke out for reunification with Russia.
