Motalabor has advised SVT about what it looks like in Varamon right now. Judging from the pictures submitted, it is sometimes crowded at the popular bathing area on Vättern's beach.
Concern exists for people to get too close to one another and thereby increase the risk of coronary infections spreading.
- It's a little mixed. In some parts you keep a distance, but there is a bit of beach where it gets dense, says Tomas Martinsson, plant manager for sports and leisure facilities in the municipality.
The municipality has erected more signs reminiscent of keeping a distance of two meters, but there are no real means of power. The rules that exist, for example about a maximum of 50 people, are mainly focused on restaurants. Today, there are no restrictions for bathing places but only recommendations.
- We are probably expecting some special recommendations when it comes to bathing places, says Martinsson.
