A 60-year-old was charged with "driver and driver of drug and alcohol homicide" after a fatal accident on March 5 in Codognan (Gard), said Eric Maurel, the public prosecutor of the Republic of Nîmes, 20 Minutes.

Placed under judicial control
The tragedy caused the death of a 36-year-old man, and left five injured, three of them serious.
The 60-year-old is also under investigation for "aggravated unintentional injuries" on four of the victims of the accident. The man was placed under judicial supervision.
