- We cannot risk increasing the pressure on the authorities concerned in a situation when we already have a social impact from covid-19, says county council Peter Molin in a statement.
In addition to the pandemic, the prevailing weather situation with heat and drought - as well as the large number of summer visitors - makes it more difficult for the authorities to deal with unforeseen incidents.
"The burning will be moved forward indefinitely pending the conditions change," the county administrative board writes in a press release.
