Avia in the sights of justice

The candidate LR in the 12th arrondissement of the capital, Valérie Montandon, and that of the electoral district Paris-center (first four districts) Aurélien Véron, had indicated Monday their intention to seize the parquet floor and the national financial floor after an article from Mediapart , according to whom the deputy LREM Laëtitia Avia would have made work several of her parliamentary assistants during the campaign for the municipal elections in Paris.

The two LR candidates asked for the designation of a bailiff "to collect computer files in the permanent office of Laëtitia Avia", candidate then in 3rd position (today 29th) on the LREM list of the XIIth arrondissement.

Valérie Montandon and Aurélien Véron invoke "alleged violations of certain provisions of the Electoral Code", which they believe "may lead to the rejection of the campaign accounts of Mrs. Sandrine Mazetier", head of the LREM list in the 12th district.

These actions are "punishable by three years' imprisonment, in addition to the payment of a fine," said Monday Valérie Montandon and Aurélien Véron in their press release.
