An anti-narcotics operation was carried out this Tuesday around 6 am in the Place du Banat in the Blosne district south of Rennes (Ille-et-Vilaine), we learned from the public prosecutor. It resulted in the arrest of six individuals. During the operation, two vehicles of the interregional direction of the judicial police, one of which was unmarked, were damaged with broken windshields and punctured tires.
This police operation comes as settling of accounts against the background of drug trafficking is increasing in Rennes with already a dozen cases since the beginning of the year. The last dated back to Wednesday morning with the facade of a building which was riddled with bullets in the district of Maurepas.
