According to him, at around 10:30 p.m., unmanned aerial vehicles approaching Khmeimim and the village of Jebl were detected by Russian air defense systems.
“The fire of Russian and Syrian air defense systems shot down two unmanned aerial vehicles of militants in strike equipment,” RIA Novosti quotes Shcherbitsky.
It is noted that there are no casualties, the base is operating as planned.
