According to kp.ru with reference to the agency’s website, no listeria, salmonella, E. coli bacteria, as well as nitrites, preservatives, chemical solutions and GMOs were found in any brand.

At the same time, 9 out of 15 brands tested contained chloroform.

“The detected concentrations of chloroform are more likely to indicate under-treatment of tap water in enterprises. This has nothing to do with Soviet chlorine treatment when carcasses were dipped in a “chlorine bath” at the factory, ”explained Yury Afanasyev, technical director of Labtech LLC, an engineer at the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology Laboratory for Preclinical Studies.

The absence of chlorine was detected in the products of the brands Yaroslavsky Broiler, Blagoyar, Alfoor, Prioskolye, Mosselprom, Rococo.

In addition, traces of antibiotics were found in 10 products.

Earlier, as reported by the FAN, the Roskachestvo gave recommendations on the preparation of okroshka.
