The PP president, Pablo Casado, today visited the Collegiate Medical Organization of Spain, and wanted to make the act a demand for the Cajal Pact that has proposed the Government as the basis for a State agreement that shields the health sector in the long term and beyond ideologies, in the image and likeness of what was done with pensions in the Toledo Pact.

For this reason, Pedro Sánchez has raised this week the main lines of the agreement, in exchange for the PP's support for the decree that regulates the so-called "new normality".

"We would be willing to support the decree of what the government calls the new normal once the government has sat down with the PP to incorporate other measures," said the opposition leader. "We think the decree is insufficient" in legal and health terms, he has justified.

For this reason, Casado has entrusted former Minister of Health Ana Pastor to speak this Tuesday and Wednesday with the Minister of Health, Salvador Illa, about the 10 points that the PP wants to debate.

Outstanding among them is the strengthening of primary care and the creation of "a National Agency to coordinate the entire health system", thus improving synergies between the autonomous regions, the Central Administration and the health system.

As for the outbreaks of coronavirus, Casado has once again emphasized that there is no need to change the legal Plan B law to "maintain the single health command if necessary", but also to "limit mobility" if necessary. "I keep reaching out" to amend some law in the last week of the parliamentary session.

Casado has also called for "an economic shock plan" to be approved "before the government goes on vacation." And he has demanded tax cuts like those announced by Germany and France this week.
