- We usually take the samples at this time, and it should be four weeks between the first and second sampling. The rule for the whole country is that two samples should be taken, says Anna Rogström, park engineer at the environmental and community building administration in Falu municipality.

On the Sea and Water website you can see the quality of each bathing place in each municipality. There it stands at the moment that all bathing places in both Falun and Borlänge are inadequately sampled.

- This does not mean that the sampling is insufficient but it is because our bathing season has just begun. When we take the samples, hopefully it will be excellent quality, says Rogström.

Can get notes

In addition, one must wait to take samples before the temperature rises.

- We want to take samples when it's seasonal and people swim, we adapt to the bathing season.

If there is any objection, a sign will be erected and additional samples may be taken. The bathing area may also be closed.

However, Anna Rogström claims that they rarely get any comment.

Borlänge starts in July

However, Borlänge has not started yet. Since they have no EU baths, you do not have to try as frequently. In July, they expect to start running.

In the clip above, Niklas Sjödin, environmental inspector at Mora, explains what to look for when doing these samples.
