In the Carpathian region, three people died due to heavy rains

“Carpathian region suffers from heavy rains. In the Ivano-Frankivsk region, three people were killed, ”TASS quoted the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

It is noted that an elderly woman drowned in a stormy stream, and the driver and passenger of a car that washed away from the road into the river were killed.

Due to heavy rains, two dams broke on the Cheremosh River in the Chernivtsi region. In the Ivano-Frankivsk region, heavy rains flooded six districts. 

It was previously reported that an emergency mode was introduced in Blagoveshchensk after heavy rainfall.
