When a group of girls read the Holy Qur’an on Sunday afternoon inside the Bab Al-Rahma chapel east of Al-Aqsa Mosque, the Israeli police entered them and told them that they were under arrest.

When one of them refused to obey the arrest warrant, a policeman beat her and dragged her by force, and when one of the Al-Aqsa guards objected to the entry of police officers with their shoes to the chapel, he was detained with five girls.

Shifa Abu Ghalya (18 years old) was among those girls whose photos spread on social media platforms, covering their faces with masks and forcibly taking them to the cars of the occupation police.

Khadija Khwais, the mother of Shifa, says that her daughter and the other girls have arrived at the police station to find orders to move away from Al-Aqsa waiting for them with a barrage of insults and insults.

"My little girl Fatima cried as she saw the arrest of her sister and the police attack on the girls and beat them to them," she added. One of them dropped and dragged her from the foot, hit the girl's head against the wall, and arrested another without shoes. "

And the occupation authorities deported Khwais from the Al-Aqsa Mosque six months after a series of continuous deportations and arrests. Citizenship believes that the occupation controls the mosque's goers, empties of settler-infested settlers' paths, and practices numerous violations affecting the sovereignty of Islamic endowments over the mosque.

Denounced and condemnation
after the incident hours later , issued the Islamic Waqf and the affairs of Al - Aqsa Mosque Department issued a statement condemning the storming chapel and the arrest of girls and the guard, describing it as " the actions of irresponsible targeted to inflame the situation inside the mosque and change the religious and legal status of the mosque has long been" asserting that "Al - Aqsa Islamic mosque for Muslims Only they do not accept division or partnership. "

This violation was welcomed by the Israeli "Students for the Temple" organization via its Facebook page, hoping that this would be a change in the way of "returning the door of mercy to the Jews" as the new Minister of Internal Security saluted Amir Ohana affirming that the Islamic Waqf is an enemy of the occupation police.

To coincide with the resentment of a popular Jerusalemite over the incident of the Bab al-Rahma chapel and the aggravation of the occupation violations against the mosque, its chapel and its guards, the preacher of the Al-Aqsa Mosque Sheikh Ikrima Sabri said on Monday that "the Islamic Endowments Department is gradually losing its control over Al-Aqsa."

The beginning of losing control, and
in his talk to Al-Jazeera Net, Sheikh Ikrima confirmed that the occupation police interfere in the administration of the Al-Aqsa Mosque and prevent its guards from carrying out their work, arresting them and removing them from the mosque, in a clear revocation of the powers entrusted to them from the Islamic Endowments Department that were unable to protect them and prevent their actions from being hindered.

Sheikh Ikrima pointed out that the situation of Al-Aqsa Mosque has become more dangerous after its closure due to the pandemic of the new Corona Virus pandemic (Covid-19), as the occupation police have gradually reduced the powers of the Al-Aqsa Endowment Department by force of arms.

Sheikh Ikrima Sabri warned of Islamic endowments losing their authority over Al-Aqsa Mosque (Al-Jazeera)

And Khatib Al-Aqsa blamed the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and the Arab and Islamic countries, adding, "Why is this silence and Al-Aqsa violating its sanctities, and Arabs and Muslims are silent if they are not conspiring?"

Endowments: Our sovereignty exists,
and a member of the Islamic Endowments Council, Hatem Abdel Qader, believes that Sheikh Ikrima did not literally mean the beginning of the loss of control of the endowments over the mosque, but rather occurred in the context of his review of Israeli violations in Al-Aqsa.

And Abdul Qadir believes that the Islamic Waqfs impose their control over the Al-Aqsa, despite the unprecedented occupation measures to impose a fait accompli.

He assures Al-Jazeera Net that the power of the endowment control stems from the power of the Hashemite Jordanian legal and political guardianship, as well as the endowment's reliance on the power of the popular effort in addressing any Israeli infringement of the red lines, as happened in the gift of electronic portals and the chapel of Mercy.

He adds that despite the occupation measures imposed by the occupation in Al-Aqsa by force of arms, he has not yet been able to take a dramatic step inside it, thus proving the endowment's control in practice over its management and restoration.

Violations worsened after Corona
Since the reopening of Al-Aqsa at the end of last May and over 22 days, the Al-Aqsa Mosque has witnessed an unprecedented acceleration in imposing new facts monitored by researcher in Jerusalem affairs Ziad Abhais.

Abhais emphasized that it falls within a plan drawn up in advance in the "Deal of the Century", which stipulates that the occupation be considered "a good guardian of the holy sites" that must remain in his hands alone, and does not mention the endowments or Jordan explicitly or a hint in everything related to Jerusalem.

The newest incidents of the occupation include completely emptying the path of intrusions completely in front of the intruders, arresting and deporting all of the worshipers there, in addition to preventing documenting intrusions into the media, performing Jewish rituals extensively during the intrusion to protect the occupation police, and re-targeting the Bab al-Rahma chapel, in addition to removing more than 46 Palestinian from Al-Aqsa within 22 days.

Recovering the elements of power,
and Abhais explained to Al-Jazeera Net that the control of Islamic endowments over Al-Aqsa has been declining since the rise of the Temple's agenda and the division of Al-Aqsa into the forefront since 2002.

He added that the occupation "seeks to turn the circle of endowments into a formal administration, under which its plans pass all its plans, thereby losing its original Islamic legitimacy, and deleting its role becomes easy."

Abhais considered that the Islamic Waqfs maintained their role as an exclusive Islamic administration for Al-Aqsa despite its occupation over three years between 1967-1970, through the elements of a potential force that can be benefited from now, the first of which is the preservation of constants, and the second is the popular position that is held behind these constants, and the third is support the official.

He concluded by saying, "We witnessed a violation of this equation during the Corona crisis, and today it is necessary to return this equation to its correct level, and this is what Sheikh Akrama today initiates from his position when he launches a position that represents the Islamic principles and paves the way for building the popular consensus around it."
