With the arrival of summer temperatures, wearing a mask becomes even more restrictive. But it remains highly recommended, even mandatory, to fight against the coronavirus. Report from Europe 1 in the alleys of a Parisian market.

REPORTAGE

Summer heat is expected throughout France this week, with temperatures possibly exceeding 30 ° C. Under these conditions, it is not easy to wear a mask on the face, even if it is always recommended, or even compulsory in certain places, to fight against the coronavirus pandemic.

"The heat is rising, it's unpleasant"

"It's painful, I can't breathe," could be heard Tuesday morning in the aisles of the Saint-Charles market in the 15th arrondissement of Paris. "When you breathe through your mouth or your nose, the heat rises, it's unpleasant! I wanted to take off the mask, but I'm afraid, with my age," says Monique. "There is mist on the glasses, it itches, the elastic hurts the ears, but we have to keep it for safety," says Alain, a trader.
