The movement began to circulate in the car showrooms, with the commencement of movement restrictions within and between some Moroccan cities, but that movement is far from what it was before Corona.

With the gradual reduction of quarantine measures, workers in the auto sector hope that things will return to speed quickly in the remaining months of this year, to remedy the losses caused by the Covid-19 virus.

Car sales in Morocco fell during the past three months in an unprecedented way, and the rate of decline during the last April was 86% compared to its level during the same period last year. The decline rate was 61% in March.

The brands combined last April were only able to sell 1,600 cars, compared to more than 12,300 cars during the same period last year.

Corona's hand also extended to the automotive industry, as the country's exports decreased by 96% last April.
