“We have two outbreaks in Kurchatov from contractors who work on the construction of a nuclear power plant,” he said.
According to him, the Federal Biomedical Agency (FMBA) is in control.
“Our task is to ensure that the outbreaks do not spread across Kurchatov and the region,” he added.
As noted in one of the contracting organizations, at the construction site there are 26 people with confirmed COVD-19 and more than 200 contacts.
“Everyone is self-isolated, there are no threats,” added Vice Governor Andrei Belostotsky.
