Big fear for several inhabitants of the Malakoff district in Nantes. Sunday evening, around 10 p.m., shots rang out at the foot of the buildings in the rue de Chypre. A person in a vehicle repeatedly shot an individual on the public highway.
The latter, who was not injured, in turn fired several times in the direction of the car before fleeing and hiding behind a building, reports the national police. The witnesses then heard a new detonation.
Nine sockets found on site
When the police arrived, the people involved, four of whom were reported to have left the scene. A resident of a ground floor of a building, victim of collateral damage, found that a projectile had passed through the double glazing of his window as well as a partition of his accommodation. Nine sockets were found on the spot.
An investigation was opened by the criminal brigade of the Departmental Security.
