A man, 21 years old, was found dead, on the night of Sunday to Monday, in the city of Saint-Martin, in Montpellier (Hérault).

According to information communicated to 20 Minutes by the prosecution, the police had been notified earlier, around 3 am, of the occurrence of gunshots in this district south of the Hérault capital.

Two sockets found

On the spot, at the foot of a building, the police discovered the body of this young man, bearing injuries caused by a firearm. He was hit in the shoulder and chest. Two sockets were discovered at the scene.

For the time being, the circumstances of this drama remain unclear. An investigation was entrusted to the police officers of the Departmental Security of the Hérault.
