It is specified that for the day in the country another 491 cases of infection with coronavirus were detected.
“To date, 12 729 facts of coronavirus infection have been detected in Azerbaijan, 6799 people have recovered, 154 have died, 5776 continue treatment in hospitals of special treatment,” the statement said.
According to the staff, since the start of the pandemic, 422,049 tests for coronavirus have been carried out in the country.
Earlier, the Azerbaijani authorities decided to extend the quarantine regime imposed due to the coronavirus pandemic until August 1.
