The net court. For the past two days and the broadcasting of a video showing a young woman beaten several times by a man, very many Internet users have reacted in an attempt to identify the perpetrator. In the images, we can clearly see a young woman, probably a minor, receiving eight violent slaps slapped by a man. Filmed in a staircase, the 45-second scene would take place in Dinan, in the Côtes d'Armor, according to comments from certain accounts that relayed the video on Facebook. Since then, a real manhunt has been organized online to find the violent man.

In the images, the victim is violently beaten but also insulted and threatened with death by a man whom he visibly knows and who seems to blame him for things. The young woman implores her to stop and calls her by her nickname. A third person films the scene.

An open investigation to identify victim and perpetrator

Released on Friday, the video generated a torrent of hatred against the perpetrator. Many comments invited to share the publication in order to identify the author. The Saint-Malo prosecution has opened an investigation for "dissemination of images of violence", specifies Le Télégramme . Investigators will try to determine where and when these images were filmed.

The video, where the victim can be clearly identified, was viewed tens of thousands of times on Facebook, where it still appeared on Sunday afternoon. The latter indicated that he had not received any complaints for the time being. One of the men who relayed the video subsequently revealed the Facebook account of the perpetrator.
