The Ministry of Islamic Affairs in the region of Makkah Al-Mukarramah announced on Friday that 1560 mosques and universities in Makkah Al-Mukarramah, prepared to receive worshipers after a 90-day break, due to the emerging Corona virus.

The Saudi Press Agency (SPA) stated today that mosques and mosques have opened their doors starting from the dawn prayer of this day, as the precautions and requirements that were directed by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance in the Makkah region have been applied to imams and the muezzin of mosques and mosques.

According to the agency, the procedures included the necessity of applying the distance between the two worshipers for a distance of two meters and the need to wear a muzzle and bring a rug with each worshiper, in addition to opening windows and doors in the event of prayer, in addition to putting stickers at the doors to work with the regulations, requirements and health protocols received from the Ministry of Health.

The branch of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs in the Makkah region completed the preparation of mosques and chapels through the necessary maintenance and cleaning work and sterilization of all mosques during the closing period and afterwards through maintenance and cleaning companies through which carpets are washed and sterilized in addition to the participation of some volunteer teams.
