The restaurant lunches were launched as part of a crisis package for business in Borås at the end of March. After that, high school students could get lunch from restaurants in the municipality. The bill stood for Borås City.

132 eateries snapped at the proposal. In total, students registered 4,186 students for the service. 3,711 students used it. And on average, 2,750 lunches were picked up every day.

It is estimated to cost SEK 10 million

The municipal council Anna Svalander estimates that the total cost the municipality just over SEK 10 million. And she is happy with the effort.
