President Moon Jae-in will host the 6th Fair Society Anti-Corruption Policy Council at the Blue House today (22nd).

At today's meeting, President Moon will call for a strict response to civilian crimes.

At the council, Park Eun-jeong, the chairman of the National Rights Commission and Hong Nam-gi, as well as Deputy Prime Minister Hong Nam-ki, and Justice Minister Chu Mi-ae and Prosecutor Yoon Seok-yeol, who have been in conflict over the recent complaints against Han Myung-sook.

Earlier yesterday, Mr. Yoon virtually accepted Mr. Chu's instructions on the 19th, "Investigate the reference of the former prime minister's complaint against the prime minister."

For this reason, it is analyzed that the Justice Department and the prosecution have made a choice ahead of the anti-corruption council to avoid the immediate conflict.
