The Community of Madrid will enter the new normality in two stages, from June 21 to July 5 and a second from July 6, which contemplates the first days a reduction of capacity in closed spaces to 60 percent and in open areas, such as terraces, of 80 percent. These are the measurements:

CLOSED SPACES.

The capacity allowed in closed spaces will generally be 60% from June 21 to July 5, while from July 6 the capacity will be 75%. This measure will affect commercial premises, retail establishments, shopping centers and parks, libraries, archives, monuments, museums, cinemas, theaters, auditoriums, indoor sports facilities, betting and gaming establishments, academies, driving schools, fairs, congresses, events and tourist accommodation.

HOSTELRY.

From tomorrow and until July 5, the bars and restaurants will be able to open with a capacity of 60% indoors and 80% on the terraces. This figure will increase to 75% and 100%, respectively, from July 6.

DISCOTECAS AND BARS OF DRINKS.

Nightclubs and nightclubs will be closed at least until next July 5. When they open, they must have "strict security and hygiene measures". Thus, dance floors will not be enabled and it will be required that social distance be respected. This measure, more restrictive than the one imposed by the central government on other communities in phase 3, yesterday provoked criticism from the leisure sector, which accused the regional government of sending the message that "visiting Madrid is dangerous."

SENIOR RESIDENCES.

From tomorrow the regime of visits to the residences for the elderly and people with disabilities will be made more flexible, by activating a new protocol that will increase the duration and frequency of appointments. The new protocol, which is still being drafted, will maintain the obligation to request an appointment. Until now, each resident could receive the visit of a single relative, once a week and for half an hour. The social service centers, meanwhile, will be closed until July 5, except the residences. From July 6, day centers will be able to resume their activity.

HOTELS.

Until July 5, in hotels and tourist accommodation, the capacity in common areas may not exceed 60% and from the day after, the capacity limit will be 75%. Animation activities or group classes should be designed and planned with a maximum capacity of 20 people, preferably taking place outdoors. Meanwhile, the hostels will have an occupancy of 50%.

CHILDREN'S SCHOOLS.

Beginning July 1, the first cycle centers for early childhood education from 0 to 3 years will be opened, where students whose parents must "work outside the home" will have preference. This does not mean, however, that in the event that one of the parents is teleworking, the children cannot attend, only that they will not have that admission preference.

TRANSPORT.

In urban and intercity buses, there will be 100% capacity in the seats and foot occupancy is increased, from two to three people per square meter. Regarding the public transport offer, a service level is established at peak time of 100% while the use of the mask will continue to be mandatory. Yes, there will still be capacity controls in the Metro, so that the safety distance is respected. Meanwhile, taxis and VTC will be able to transport three people per row regardless of whether or not they live together at the same address. It will continue to be prohibited to occupy the passenger seat.

SWIMMING POOLS.

The Community will establish "until new order" a maximum capacity of 50% for both public and private recreational pools, while sports pools will have a maximum capacity of 75% and will no longer have a capacity limit from July 6, although users must keep a distance of 1.5 meters.

GYMNASTICS.

In the gyms, group activities can be carried out without physical contact, limited first (until July 5) to 20 people or 60% of the capacity and then (from July 6) to 25 people or 75% of the capacity.

CHILDREN'S PARKS AND OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES.

The community's playgrounds, skate tracks and public outdoor spaces may be open as long as a maximum capacity of one person is respected for every four square meters of the premises. On the contrary, the ball park playgrounds will not be able to recover their activity yet. Meanwhile, bathing in rivers, lakes and pools puddled with water is prohibited. The recreational areas of the mountains will also be closed.

FUNERAL FACILITIES.

They may not exceed 75% of their capacity and the wake will have a maximum attendance of 50 people in open spaces or 25 people in closed areas.

SHOPPING CENTERS AND MARKETS.

In centers, commercial parks and markets, until July 5, the capacity will be limited to 60% of its common areas. Starting July 6, the occupancy rate will rise to 75%.
