The head of state emphasized that much remains to be done in Russia to increase the efficiency and reliability of the entire healthcare system.
“It is necessary to seriously improve the condition of the primary care unit, FAPs (feldsher-midwife centers. - RT ), clinics and hospitals, emergency and emergency medical services, strengthen their staff, increase the availability of modern diagnosis of diseases by an order of magnitude and, of course, ensure broad digitalization, the use of artificial intelligence technologies in the work of medical institutions at all levels, ”Putin said.
He also added that such work should not be carried out in individual organizations or settlements, but throughout Russia in order to provide high-quality medical care and modern working conditions for health workers.
Earlier, Putin expressed hope for the imminent emergence of a vaccine against coronavirus infection COVID-19.
He also thanked the doctors for their work during the pandemic and instructed them to keep all additional payments for another two months.
