“If we talk about the Minsk complex of measures, then the situation is potentially very dangerous ... there can be cause for concern more and more often the words about the optionality or impossibility of fulfilling the Minsk agreements,” TASS quoted him as saying.

He noted that if such statements begin to take the form of the official position of Kiev, this will lead the situation to a standstill.

“There is simply no other foundation for working in the Ukrainian direction,” the Kremlin representative added.

Earlier, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov expressed the view that statements by Ukrainian officials about the optional implementation of the Minsk Agreements are “from the crafty or from ignorance of the subject.”

In Ukraine, in turn, it was stated that the Minsk process “rests on mechanical ventilation” and suggested organizing negotiations on the situation in the Donbass in a Budapest format without Russia.
