Vladimir Putin instructed to keep in July and August all cash bonuses for physicians fighting coronavirus. The head of state emphasized that these payments will not be taxed.

“The risks and burdens on medical workers in this regard are still high. And I think it is necessary for another two months, namely July and August, to keep all federal payments and regional allowances for medical workers who continue to work with patients with coronavirus, ”the president said during a meeting with medical workers, which was held in video communication mode.

Recall that in early April, the president called for the introduction of additional monthly payments for medical workers who work directly with patients with coronavirus.

The maximum surcharge is provided for doctors directly working with patients with coronavirus infection - 80 thousand rubles per month. For paramedical personnel - paramedics, nurses, the payment is 50 thousand rubles. For junior medical personnel - 25 thousand rubles a month.

Ambulance doctors working with coronavirus patients should receive a payment of 50 thousand rubles a month, and paramedics, nurses and drivers of car crews - 25 thousand rubles a month.

During the conversation with medical workers, the head of state also noted that it is necessary to encourage young doctors who fought against coronavirus.

“During the epidemic, more than 15 thousand students, residents, graduate students worked with their senior colleagues shoulder to shoulder. They received real baptism of fire and a test of loyalty to their future profession, ”the president noted.

Along with this, Putin indicated that the issue of paying vacation pay to health workers should be resolved. The head of state noted that many doctors postpone and carry out summer vacations.

“All additional payments to the salary should be taken into account when calculating vacation pay for medical workers, regardless of when the specialist goes on vacation,” the president emphasized.

Speaking about the contribution of health workers to the fight against the epidemic, Putin called their actions a sacrificial feat that will forever go down in the history of Russian medicine.

“We are sincerely proud, admire your behavior, your professional feat. He helped each of us to fully realize and feel the true value of life and the significance of the work to which you dedicated your life, the true moral greatness and professional complexity of your work, ”the president turned to the doctors.

At the same time, Putin pointed out that thanks to the heroic work of doctors, the epidemic is beginning to recede, but the fight against it continues.

New cases per day
