“By order of the head of the Republic of Dagestan, gratitude was announced to the entire team, which consisted of doctors of various profiles,” the press service of the government of Dagestan said.

The Minister of Health of the Republic, Jamaludin Hajiyibragimov, noted that doctors from Moscow visited medical institutions in different regions of the region, where severe patients are in intensive care, and also worked with outpatients.

“We are leaving here, understanding two things: the number of hospitalizations in the republic is declining sharply, and most hospitals that have been reprofiled are returning to civilian life,” Protsenko said.

On June 10, Protsenko, together with a team of doctors, arrived in Dagestan to assist in the fight against coronavirus infection.

Later, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin noted that in Dagestan it was possible to establish the provision of medical care for patients with coronavirus and reduce the number of new cases.
