"The attack is directed against Australian organizations from a variety of sectors, including all levels of government, industry, education, health, essential service providers and infrastructure operators (...) We know it is a sophisticated cyber attack linked to a state because of the scale and the goals, "said the ocean country's prime minister Scott Morrison.

The Australian ruler said that hackers have not yet found "major security breaches" during their "malicious" attacks, without stating when they have happened.
