Al-Sharifi did not specify whether there was a trend to extend the decision to prevent movement between the cities of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi for another period or not, but he stressed that the decision to extend the decision is not individual, and is being studied by the Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management Committee.

Al-Sharifi said in media statements, that there is a commitment of citizens and residents to the decision to prohibit movement of up to 97%, praising the awareness of members of the public about the measures applied to reduce the spread of the Corona virus.

On the categories that are allowed to enter the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, Al Sharifi indicated to facilitate the transfer of chronic disease owners for treatment, as well as the movement of goods and mail.

The Committee for the Management of Emergencies, Crises and Disasters resulting from the Corona pandemic in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, together with Abu Dhabi Police and the Department of Health-Abu Dhabi, decided to extend the travel ban between the cities of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi (Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and Al Dhafra) and to and from the emirate for a period of one week, starting on June 16.
