This week, the work has been done in the border street between Norway and Dalarna by staff from the Norwegian Mapping Authority.

In several places the border has been straightened out and in some places the border street has been very overgrown.

 - There has been a lot of work far from the nearest road here to Dalarna. During our work on the Fulufjället, we used a helicopter, says Roy Pedersen at the Mapping Authority, which is the equivalent of the Swedish Land Survey and which is responsible for taking up the southern part of the 163 km long border.

See in the clip how the work at the border goes and hear Tor Erik Bakke tell us why it is also about nurturing a cultural heritage.
