In terms of seasonal characteristics, as summer enters, the temperature in the limited space rises, and the risk of poisoning and suffocation accidents in the limited space operation has increased significantly. Since May this year, there have been 13 major accidents in the limited space operation and 40 deaths, respectively. This year accounted for 65.0% and 64.5% of the total accidents in limited space operations. In terms of accident types and locations, 17 of the 20 major accidents that occurred this year were poisoning and suffocation accidents, which caused a total of 53 deaths; 16 cases occurred in sewage ponds, pumping wells, basements, etc. 49 people were killed in the space. From the perspective of industry, major accidents this year have mainly concentrated in the construction industry and industry and trade industries. The number of major accidents and deaths in these two industries accounted for 80.0% and 79.0% of the total, respectively. From the perspective of casualties, improper rescue is the main cause of the increase in casualties. Of the 20 major accidents that occurred this year, 11 were caused by blind rescue and improper rescue measures.
