Nicolas Florian, Pierre Hurmic and Philippe Poutou. - UGO AMEZ / SIPA

It is not a surprise but rather a confirmation. According to an Ipsos Steria poll carried out for Sud Ouest, France Bleu Gironde, TV7 and France 3, the outgoing mayor LR Nicolas Florian, who joined forces with the candidate of La République running in between, leads the way environmentalist Pierre Hurmic and the “Bordeaux en Luttes” list by Philippe Poutou.

Neck and neck with the candidate of Europe-Ecology-The-Greens in the first round (96 votes apart), Nicolas Florian stands out since he harvested 49% of the voting intentions against 40% for Pierre Hurmic and 11% for Philippe Poutou. His alliance with Thomas Cazenave, the LREM candidate, seems to be winning according to this survey.
