And this record jump, yesterday, broke the record that was recorded the previous day, which amounted to 139.5 thousand cases.
The total number of corona cases in the world reached 8 million and 349972, of which 448,962 deaths, 4 million and 73974 healing cases as of today.
The countries most affected by the virus are the United States, with two million and 163.2 thousand cases, Brazil (955.3 thousand), Russia (about 553 thousand), India (366.9 thousand) and Britain (300.7 thousand).
